The most common way to clean your pet is, of course, a wet bath. But what happens when your dog refuses to get into the tub? Or you have a cat that hates water (probably all cats)? Or when they are just in need of a quick refreshment after the daily walk or that beach trip? That’s when a dry bath comes handy isn’t? Many of you have told us that you prefer a wet bath but we think you should give a dry bath a try. Why? We can think of a few reasons: ⠀

1 - Some dogs, cats and other pets often run for the hills when it’s time for a bath. Not all dogs like to be fluffy and clean. And don’t even mention 'B' word to a cat, chances are they will hate you for it and probably scar you for life. This is when a dry bath will help you. You just need to sit, sprinkle and brush. This way you can extend the time in between wet baths and make grooming time a happy time.

2 - Sometimes you won't always have enough time for a full wet bath. Its ok, in some cases bathing your pet can be tiring and time-consuming. If this is you, have your dry bath tools handy and you'll have them fresh and clean in under 5 minutes!

3 - The conditions may not be right. Winter can be a hard time to give wet baths or on days where the rain never ceases to end. A dry bath can happen anywhere, anytime.

4 - Your pet only needs a quick refreshment. Even though many dogs and cats clean themselves exceptionally well, most still need a little help to keep looking, and feeling, their very best. Sometimes, they only need a quick clean and brush after a hike or beach day.

Dry baths are not meant to be a permanent replacement for a good, old bath with water and shampoo. Dry baths are a trick you can pull in between regular washes, to extend the time between wet baths or when the weather or perhaps your pet is not cooperating.
